Jehovah’s Sovereignty - revealed!
The great issue would not exist without rebellion. “Jehovah is in truth God. He is the living God and the King to time indefinite. ..He is the maker of the earth by his power, the One firmly established the productive land by his wisdom, and the One who by his understanding stretched out the heavens.” Jer 10:10-12
Humans obviously cannot affect Almighty God Rulership, Godship, His eternal nature, His Sovereignty is from everlasting to everlasting, he is God.
Jehovah is the father of all the families both on earth and in heaven. So his progeny can affect his feelings by their behaviour this includes his Universal Sovereignty because he has given all life in his image the ability to have free will. This enables His creations that He has ‘begotten’ to be able to act as his children by reciprocating Love back to him. REBELLION changed that.
The event in Eden when an anointed Cherub (latter called Satan) spoke the first Lie to the woman Eve who was deceived, later her husband Adam chose the course of rebellion joining in effect this fallen angel who began the challenge, that God was an uncaring Father denying his children independence from His authority and affecting his behaviour as a fair Sovereign. So he questioned Gods fairness in his Sovereign rule inferring that both angelic and human sons were better off free from his interference and could lead happier more fulfilling lives with out Gods interference. What did Jehovah Choose to do ?
He gave permission for the human race to practice free rule without his intervention, this would include the creation of their own religions and Political rulership over about 6000yrs with the historic evidence of their actions and its effects upon their ‘neighbours’ and the wellbeing of the environment it’s life and all life forms that exist on planet earth. God had laid the responsibility ‘to fill the earth and subdue it that included caring for lower life forms. Gen 1-3, 6 Sadly within 1600yrs the planet became ruined in his sight. (please see section on Satan, Demons & the Flood for more details). This also included Holy Angels rebelling speeding up moral ruination of earth.
How Did God handle this additional rebellion with the loss of millions of faithful angels whose actions speeded up the time he had allotted for human rebellion ?
He knew that humans needed time to establish a nuclear age, a Technological age with the fair opportunity to create a human independent utopia. Although he would provide sufficient time and not interfere, he also needed time to provide human who were still his estranged children the opportunity to get to know him. How would he do this ?
By Producing a ‘SEED’ a human linage, How & Why ?
The existing society that was established by the first humans rebellion was based on selfishness and God Himself along with his only begotten Son (see Jesus section) wanted to provide balance, that the opportunity for Adams offspring to not follow their parents and get to know him and feeling his Love and loving him in return . Gen 4; Isa 40,45,55
In fact Eves second son Abel became friends with God he worshipped and loved Jehovah sadly he was murdered by his jealous older brother Cain. This proved that Jehovah was right that some humans despite there upbringing and outside selfish human interference, they would want to Love God and in turn love their neighbour, as Jesus later commanded his followers. Mth 22 Pro 22 Col 1 Jn 1:18
Jesus before he became known as Jesus was esspecially ‘fond of the sons of men’ when he assisted his Father as ‘master Craftsman’ with his Father during the creation of humanity. The special love meant that he would be willing eagerly to assist his Father in saving humans who wanted to Love and prove that Adam the first Perfect human Son of God could have been loyal to His God and Father, yet Jesus proved his loyalty to death. This example would assist his followers that they could do the same, (with the help of Holy Spirit) and thus restore the original Father Son relationship that humans first had before the fall (rebellion) Jn 17 &15.
Gods Eternal Purpose is to permit Humans the opportunity to vindicate his Sovereignty (his way of ruling being fair by loyalty from his children even under duress) This opportunity demonstrates his great love for us elevating us to favoured sons (& Daughters) providing us as imperfect humans (sinners) a precious relationship Him. Noah was said to be ‘walking with God ‘ Abraham was called Gods ‘friend’ and Moses ‘saw God’ . In fact this historical linage led to Jesus family ancestry, he of course was the promised ‘messiah’ that the Jews expected to save the Israelites from bondage to the Roman Empire. This chosen nation was also called ‘a people for his name’ (see section jwQ on the article’a people for his name’).
Why did Jehovah need his name to be cleared from the slander put on his reputation causing the issue of his Sovereignty ?
The allegation was made that he was a selfish God, spoiling his earthly children so they felt inclined to serve him as their Father and as their God. Although the phrase ‘vindication’ does not appear in scripture it means ‘to clear from accusation, to defend ‘ a reputation does mean that the accused one would need to demonstrate the accusation false. Since the claim was that those who are his children
only serve God for what they can get from him (out of there own selfishness)
so
the onus was upon them to make it clear they love him even under duress.
Satan had slyly inferred that God was selfish and unjust what right does he have to be our ruler?
This provided suspicion in the minds of this claim (this brother angels) that his rulership was acting against their interests. Later it was discovered that about a third of the angels left Gods heavenly family and joined in Satans rebellion.
After this success with both human and angelic ones leaving Jehovah’s family the onus was inferred that Gods First born ‘begotten Son’ needed to face this issue as well. Satan had felt 100% successful with humanity’s break with God most especially with the perfect man Adam. So Jehovah stated Gen 3:15 that he would produce a ‘seed’ later called the ‘second Adam’ who would face Satans challenge as a perfect man on earth fully vulnerable to Satans attacks on his integrity up to death. So Michael (who is with god) born as a perfect human Son of Man named Jesus would not only be the messiah for Israel, a saviour for all humanity by sacrificing his life blood as the sacrificial lamb that ‘takes away the sins of the world’ meaning he could rescue humanity from sin and eternal death. He would also have to face off Satans challenges temptations and a torturous death. All this to prove his complete loyalty and love for his Father and humanity.
Firstly after his baptism at 30yrs of age he was ‘led’ by the Holy Spirit into the wilderness and after 40days he was led to Satan to face 3 temptations, Why?
Because he was led this meant that his Father wanted him to face down Satans challenge, the face to face communication proved that Jesus could be loyal or give way and fail to uphold Jehovah’s Sovereignty. Satan actually quoted from the bible about miraculous manna that fed the Jews in the wilderness and then quoted the psalms to show that angels will carry someone if they fell. In Mth 4 Jesus answered from scripture that you should not ‘put God to the test’. The third test showed that Satan wanted to replace Jehovah as God with desiring worship for himself instead. He also insulted Jesus saying, “if you are a son of god’ knowing that Jesus was involved with his Father in jointly creating Satan themselves.
We need to remember that Jesus pre human life was as the most powerful spirit Son, highest in all creation, he found himself as a weak frail human, who had only weeks ago discovered his full memory at baptism, he was just the oldest son of a typical Jewish family with the trade of carpentry.
So Satan was considerably superior in power and position, meaning it would have been easy to follow his own initiative but he resolutely as a Jew referred to the writings of Moses in his defence. Later he said “I cannot do a single thing of my own initiative’ Jn 8:28
so he replied to Satan a regarding worship that he said “It is to Jehovah alone you must make sacred worship. Lk 4 In Isaiah 53 describes in full Jesus life on earth including in v10 that Jehovah wanted to crush taking delight in his torturous death. It pained the Father to see his son suffer and die but Jehovahs delight was that his Son remained faithful, withstood the testing , died faithful as a blasphemous criminal. Jesus’ God and Father resurrected his Son exalted him to to his own throne making Jesus the immortal ruler of the universe. ‘giving him a name above all other names”. This complete crushing of Jesus demonstrated his full submission to Gods authority as Sovereign. This issue continues until Satans removal meaning all humans need to copy Christs loyalty since this issue affects all of us. Jesus with come to Judge us and we as humans will face the ultimate test not to be marked by 666 the political beast that will demand all humans to worship it during the great tribulation/persecution.
This issue is unavoidable and people’s everywhere will be tested including those claiming to worship Jehovah today. In fact christians are told to stay awake since some will fail including some of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
It is a test and some of the ‘chosen’ will fail. Jesus foretold he warned ‘stay on the watch’. Jesus coming will come like a ‘thief’ so even the ‘chosen’ are surprised.

How is the 2nd Coming of Christ an Environmental Savior?
The SECOND COMING of Jesus Christ is due because he said that humanity would reach a ‘CRISIS POINT’ where their own misrule would result in environmental catastrophe, escalation of war that could involve nuclear weapons, the breakdown of neighbourly relations between individuals within society. He said to his disciples who asked ‘when will you save the Jews?’ His answer was for saving the whole world, he mentioned a “Great Tribulation “ “the trouble at that time will be far more terrible than any there has been, from the beginning of the world to this day. Nor will there ever be anything like it again. But God has already reduced the numbers of days; had he not done so NOBODY would survive. For the sake of the chosen people. God will reduce the days”. Matthew 24:21
”After this I saw an ENORMOUS CROWD, from every race tribe and nation..these are the people who have come safely through the terrible persecutions {Great Tribulation}” Revelation 7:9-15 GN nwt
This Great Tribulation was foreseen by God he has a contingency plan to intervene early so instead of extinction for humanity an enormous crowd survive. These are people who look to Christ for saving these ones (the ‘sheep’) are also facing a great persecution by the political nations at the arrival of Christ. Many existing Christian’s insist that the earth will be burned up at this time saying the survivors will become as angels in heaven and it’s true some will go to heaven but this scripture clearly states God intervenes to save PEOPLE who would survive to live on without tears and nor hunger or thirst. In heaven there are no people and they certainly do not eat food. As for the planet it says God says, ‘He did not create it to be empty, but formed it to be inhabited’. Isiah 45:18 NIV
Thus if you made your house a home so you can enjoy living in it, if you emigrated and rented this house out, and the tenants did not pay the rent and tried to burn it down. What would you do? burn it down with these bad tenants in it or evict them and find tenants (the sheep like people) who would pay the rent and care for the property.

He has not come ‘in the clouds’ where all humans can see him Yet. Does he come invisibly? Many christian faiths believe his coming covers a period of 3 or 7 years where he starts the process of judgement that culminates in his visible return that brings the Day of Judgement and the battle of Armageddon with human political nations. Please note this war is to remove human rulers who are ‘ruining the earth' (planet reaching the critical point) so the planet, it’s ecosystem and animal life is saved. This will also include an ‘enormous’ great crowd of people. Revelation 7:9 (ruin or destroy earth. 11:18) The purpose of this time period is for the people on this planet to choose either political promises of peace or the message of Christ.
If church organisations say follow the political promises then people must not follow this advice since it is a trap. So just because politicians or religious leaders make grandiose promises together don’t be deceived, it will also be much easier to go along with the government, those who do not will become increasingly unpopular, but Jesus warned not to follow false messiahs. Our very lives will be at stake. Please read all of chapter 24 of Matthew, this deals with the warnings, the fears, the signs, the comparisons to Noah some parts that will need further explanation. The JW religion says that Jesus came invisibly in around 1914 it is true that Christ has been watching events occur, that a period approaching the final end was approaching where the vital preaching work was carried out worldwide by Christians carrying the personal name of God ‘Jehovah’ to all of humanity. They quote the phrase ‘Jesus will ‘separate the sheep from the goats’. This final action is completed just prior to Christs return ‘were every eye will see him’. So every human must choose not any particular religious membership but to become a figurative sheep meaning they put their faith in Christ coming. Those who take the easy path where support is provided by the political authorities to reassure their citizens that everything will be fine and that they have established a lasting ‘peace and security/safety‘ this is a trap, a lie however they themselves will believe it. ‘everything is quiet and safe’.
So some have expressed the opinion that they feel a darkness, a gloomy atmosphere descending on earth, that has been felt since the beginning of the lock-downs with COVID 19 since March 2020. Many feel something is very wrong but can’t put their ‘finger on it’. Has the process prior to Christs visible arrival begun? The signs listed in Matthew 24 have been happening so we are in the ‘last days‘ or about to enter the ‘end of times’. One thing with prophesy is that it’s difficult to understand till it’s already happened so we must wait and see. The most important issue will be worship/allegiance that the political authorities will insist on from their citizens, this labelling is described in Revelation 13:16-18 as it,
- “it puts under compulsion all people ..that these should be marked on their right hand or on their forehead, and that nobody can buy or sell except a person having the mark, the name of the wild beast ..calculate the a humans number 666”
The Wild Beast represents the ruling political authority. Once humans have shown their allegiance they are symbolically marked with the ‘human number’ 666, three 6’s emphasises reoccurring 6’s meaning they never reach the divine number 7. Of course these survivors will not just sit around while miraculously a lovely house appears in this fantasy new world, it will be here, the survivors will be like those who survived the flood. To start again means we will be rebuilding our homes and towns. A lot of hard work will need to be done but it will be satisfying and as a community who have already started to show concern for one another as Jesus commanded there will be a United spirit of cooperation meaning that the building work can be done helping one another build each other’s homes etc. There will be no cell phones or cash machines since money will be gone. No rent no mortgage no debts, so how do we pay God as tenants of planet earth? With gratitude to Him and to love our neighbour that is our rent so it is really FREE
Those who take the words of Peters letter literally just need to read the verses in context: “First of all, you must . understand some people in these LAST DAYS ..whose lives are controlled by their own lusts..will mock.they purposely ignore the fact that..the earth was formed out of water, and it was also by water , the water of the FLOOD, that the old world was destroyed. But the heavens and earth that now exist are being preserved by God, in order to be destroyed by fire. They are being kept for the day when Godless People will be judged and destroyed” 2 Peter 3:3-7 GN
- So you notice the old heavens and earth were washed away by the Flood to cleanse the planet of ‘ungodly people’, here Peter says the new earth after the flood now needs destroying by fire, to destroy ungodly people. The fire is a cleansing agent to remove the dross as is gold to purify the metal making it pure. This language clearly says the planet is to be cleaned again in the Last Days of human rule. Jesus destroys the ungodly so he can fulfil the Lords Prayer, which says ‘Thy Kingdom come ON EARTH as in heaven’. It can‘t come on earth if it’s been burnt up. God also preserved all the animal life in Noah’s day, if today is the same, then animal life will also be saved because the existing planet is preserved as well, Jesus himself said ‘just as in the days of Noah, so it is with ‘my return. NEW WORLD. What will if be like? It happened before in Noah's day.
The FLOOD of Noah's Day provides a prelude to 2nd Coming
The events leading up to the Flood involved preparation, meaning Noah was provided with instructions from God 40yrs before the destruction of that world. A better phrase would be the destruction of present human society including its governmental, religious and human communities including the fallen angels. Gods said:
- “I have decided to put an end to to all mankind, I will destroy them completely ..build a boat..with good timber cover it with tar inside and out. Make it 133 metres long, 22 wide and 13 high.leave a 44 cm gap between the roof..with 3 decks and put door in side. I am sending a flood to destroy every living thing..take into the boat every kind of animal..food in order to keep them alive. Noah did everything that God commanded.” Gen 6 GN
So as you noticed the Grand Creator gave specific instructions to Noah as well as sufficient time to prepare for the saving of the animals and his family as well as any others who wanted to join him on flood-day in the Ark. 2 Peter 2:5-9 says;
- “God brought the flood on the world of godless people the only ones he saved were Noah..his family.who preached righteousness ..And so the Lord knows how to rescue godly people..and the wicked.to punish..especially those who follow their filthy bodily lusts and despise God’s authority “
This means that holy scripture shows Gods track record is consistent in cleaning up humans moral and physical pollution of this planet.
So how about us as we witness the crazy behaviour of some individuals, governments who continue to lead humanity to oblivion? If you feel as we do, distressed by this madness, then that is the first step in our desire for change but change cannot be accomplished by human society but members of human society can desire and work for change by doing as Noah did by ‘following Gods instructions’. These instructions were given by Jesus to his disciples who recorded them in scripture. Start living as Jesus commanded that is ‘loving your fellow human’ and God. Noah not only gathered the animals he built a ship huge by those standards, cared for his family and spoke to his community, about his project providing an invitation to join him in this Ark. If you think this suggestion is worth laughing at; then they it says ‘mocked Noah’ they thought he was crazy. Noah was not viewed as a celebrity quite the reverse. He was a laughing stock day and night. So if you talk to somebody you meet about Gods rescue plan, how will most respond? How do you view a visit by those Jehovah’s Witnesses who knock on your door with this type of message? Many Christian religions preach this message of Christ coming again do you take heed, LISTEN? We mention the JWs because they are most know for this disturbing behaviour, they even stand in public with their carts. If you said I am going to be one of them can you imagine the response from your friends and family. We are not saying we encourage you to join any particular Christian group but the point here is, it is not a popular choice to copy Noah. Look what happened to Jesus, he was arrested, charged, and killed by the secular authority at the behest of leaders of the state religion. A political message such as the heroic stand by the Ukrainian president is much more welcome message by this worlds media and most of its citizens than the message of Christs imminent return.
